The 36th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards Nominees!

Every year I look at the BAFTA and Oscar nominees (announced tomorrow), predicting the ‘best’ films of the past year, but this year let’s shine a little light on the other side of the award season spectrum, the Razzies!

These films and performances have been selected as the worst of the past year, and as often happens it’s amazing to see how many of the actors also appear on lists of the best, with Depp, Mara and Redmayne all tipped to possibly get Oscar nominations tomorrow! There aren’t many surprises here, some of these films were clearly in the running. Thankfully I’m able to say I’ve seen hardly any of these (in fact currently just ‘Fantastic 4’) and won’t be making much of an effort to change that, though there’s a perverse temptation to watch a few more to see how bad they really are, with ‘Jupiter Ascending’ weirdly appealing to me.
